Donna Best

Donna Marie Best (nee Kamish)
Age 81, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 17, 2021. Donna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She could often be found spending her free time golfing or bowling; or, when the whim would catch her, cooking a new adventure for her family. She especially liked to shop and was always looking for the next big sale. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and going to their various school events.  She had a resilience to her, most strongly shown in her seven year triumph over cancer. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, James and Julia Kamish; sisters, Betty Erickson, Jean Brown and Beverly Hashmi; and brother, Larry Kamish. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; children, Donald Best and Monica (Jerry) Huddleston; grandchildren, Allison, Lauren, and Lydia Best and Elizabeth and Hayden Huddleston; sister, Eleanor (John) Bleyle; brother, Donny (Nancy) Kamish; and other loving family and friends. A private family funeral service will be Monday, January 25 at 11:00 AM with a livestream provided by Simple Traditions by Bradshaw. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
