David W. Kensy

David W. Kensy, 64, of St. Paul, passed away on July 3, 2022.

He was born April 22, 1958 in St Paul, MN to Eugene and Irene (Henning) Kensy. Dave was a gifted musician, having played the drums since junior high school.  He attended Monroe High School and worked at St. Thomas Academy for 21 years.  Dave was known for his sense of humor, strong work ethic, and for the ability to repair just about anything.

Preceded in death by his father, Eugene.

Survivors include his mother, Irene; son, David (Amie); daughter, Angela (Katrina); brother, Steve (Pam); sisters, Kathy (Bob) Honerbrink; and Jeanne Kensy (Chris); granddaughters, Gabrielle and Gianna; loving girlfriend, Tami Englund; and many life-long friends.

Celebration of life services will be 11am on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at St. Thomas Academy, 949 Mendota Heights Rd., Mendota Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
