David Adank, 58, passed away on March 2, 2026, in Minneapolis, MN. He always found a way to live life to its fullest!
David is survived by siblings Julie Kalk (Dave), Kristie Heiderscheidt (Rick), Scott Adank (Lucy), Vickie Gasner (Frank), Jodie Adank (Rana). Numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. David is preceded in death by Lonnie Adank - father, Charlene Adank - mother, Jeffrey Adank - brother. David loved God, living life, family, and friends!
He was a huge MN Vikings fan and was able to attend one game. David loved participating in fantasy football. He was a beast to contend with and always a playoff contender! His fantasy football team picks often baffled the group, he drafted third-round kickers and defense. But it worked for him.
David loved his pets: Ambrose, CJ and Bridgette. When he no longer had them, he would always ask about family and friends' pets.
David loved his independence, he was known to travel everywhere in his wheelchair, whether for shopping, eating out, a joyride or visiting family. He was able to attend a Garth Brooks concert, another highlight for him. David was a "foodie", he knew what he liked and loved visiting family and friends to enjoy home cooked food. He was an advocate for others, handicapped or not. For many years David received recognition certificates for his neighborhood watch in New Hope. He would advocate to enact changes for health and safety in their buildings or homes he lived in.
A Celebration of Life for David Adank will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made in David's name to a charity of your choice
