It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carla Beatrice Webster born May 31, 1963. She was born in Chicago, Illinois the eldest child of Major John Edward and Bea J Webster. Carla married Hayward Norman in October 2004.
Carla was filled with immense love for her family and was a true blessing in her role as a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and cousin. She was a blessed gift to her family and many with whom she connected. Carla's love generously touched five generations. Carla passionately loved the LORD and was a true warrior when it came to traversing the adversities of life.
Carla was education in Roseville School district. She graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in 1983.
Carla was an ardent traveler who visited many places throughout the United States, as well as different places around the world. She had an amazing spirit of adventure and was always in the know about up-and-coming events and activities. Her nieces and nephews frequently accompanied her to these in their younger years.
Carla had great creative acumen often gifting family, friends, and caretakers with beautiful pieces of jewelry, and greeting cards. In addition to graduating from Roseville Area High School, Carla received formal training through INTERACT Art Center where she was able to hone her artistic skills.
Carla is predeceased by her father, Major John Edward Webster and her youngest brother, John Edward Webster Jr.
Carla is survived by her mother, Bea J. Webster, her sister, Tamara Greene, her brother, Jackson Webster (Shea), many nieces and nephews and so many friends and family.
Carla's presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of compassion, strength and devotion to all she knew will be forever embraced.
