Calvin D. Odenbach

Calvin David “Sonny” Odenbach, age 83 of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022. He is survived by sons, David (John Stefany) and Daniel (Amy), and their mother, Lorraine; grandchildren, Jackson, Samuel, Madison; brother, Bruce (Marcia); nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Vivian.

He was born in South Dakota in 1939 and raised in Minneapolis, graduating from South HIgh School in 1957. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Bauer, and spent a long career with Control Data (Seagate) as a computer engineer. He loved his boys and adored his cat. He will be missed by family and his friend Sylvia Galbrecht.

A private service will be held in Minneapolis. Interment will be at Veblen, South Dakota at a later date.
