Bruce Michael Martin

Bruce Michael Martin age 83, of Mound, MN passed away on May 15, 2026.

Bruce was born on January 18, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, to Donald and Mildred Martin. He was the oldest of four children. He graduated from Hopkins High School in 1961 and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota.

He spent the majority of his career as a pharmacist at Wayzata Rexall Drug in Wayzata, MN and was dedicated to his customers, often personally delivering prescriptions to those who were elderly or housebound.

Bruce married Joanne Loven and they raised their four daughters primarily in Minnetonka, MN. The young family enjoyed several road trips to visit US national parks.

Bruce's favorite hobby was tinkering with his cars. He was an accomplished self-taught mechanic and performed most maintenance tasks himself. His pride and joy was his 1968 Chrysler 300 (aka the 3-Honey).

He will be missed by his family and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald ("Doc") Martin. He is survived by siblings Mary and Paul, daughters Dianna, Lisa, Andrea and Molly and two grandchildren.

Private interment will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 11:00 AM at Dawn Valley Cemetery in Bloomington, MN.
