Barry L. Juaire, 77, of St. Paul passed away on Monday January 27th, 2025 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN surrounded by his family. He was born on January 12, 1948, the son of the late Leon & Ida (Latvala) Juaire. Barry married Susan Peters on November 20th, 1971. Barry worked many years at Unisys (formerly Sperry Univac) in Roseville as a security guard. He enjoyed woodworking and volunteering with the Boy Scouts. He was the Scoutmaster of Troop 13 and a Den Leader for Pack 70 of St. Paul. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was honorably discharged from the US Navy.

In his younger years he was known for his shenanigans with his siblings. One notable event was hanging his sister's very large doll from the balcony, a sight which left neighbors shocked and fearful it was one of the children they were seeing hung up. Barry was known for helping his neighbors by snow blowing their sidewalks and assisting with various projects. He enjoyed playing cribbage and building cribbage boards, as well as other woodworking projects such as tables, bed frames, and benches along with other items, which he gave to friends and family.

He loved volunteering with the Boy Scouts and was able to see both of his sons and grandson achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

Barry was survived by Wife Susan (Peters) Juaire, three children Dawn (Jason) Given, Paul Juaire, and Scott Juaire; one grandchild Jacob Given; sister Celeste (Terrence) Cullivan; sister in laws Patricia Juaire, Gloria Juaire, Patricia Juaire, Shirley Sheridan, Karen Goings; brother in laws Dr. William Weese, Charles Heidenrich, Gerald Peters and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Ida (Latvala) Juaire; siblings Dean Juaire, Dennis Juaire, Bernard Juaire, Terrence Juaire, Brian Juaire, Carol (Juaire) Kline, Judith (Juaire) Helsper, Rochelle (Juaire) Heidenrich , Adrienne (Juaire) Beck, Renee Juaire, Lynn (Juaire) Wiese; parents in law Herman & Mayme Peters; brothers in law William Beck, Charles Thein, Richard Helsper, Lester Kline, Charles Going, Dennis Sheridan; sisters in law Joan Juaire, Mary Juaire, Joan Peters, and Ann Peters.

Barry's interment will be at Fort Snelling on May 23rd, a Celebration of Life will follow.
