September 17, 2019 10:50 AMLinda’s passing has left me deeply shaken and I cant imagine the pain your family is going through. I loved working with Linda and she was a favorite at Estate at Roseville for her witty humor and charming personality. One of my favorite stories she told was about how she was called a “10” in a movie store once and how she used to have beautiful blond hair. I of course always told her she looked fine as she was, but she wouldn’t hear of it. She was such a joy to be around and I feel fortunate that I met her and got to be a part of her life. I only wish it had been longer.

September 17, 2019 10:49 AMThe first I learned of Linda’s wanting her ashes to be let off in the Mountains was when Patty told us about it in a meeting we were having with Elise at Simple Traditions last week. Patty said she asked Linda about it after our brother died.
During my summers in college I was working in Teton Village, Wyoming and my sister Linda came out for a visit. My friends and I took Linda on a three-day backpacking trip where we left from Jenny Lake and went onto Lake Solitude and then back in a loop to Jenny Lake. Many miles and she was so strong that year and I was so proud to have her along! It’s nice to know she remembered her time in the mountains with me.
Linda’s Urn made it safely to Colorado and I’m glad to have her with me for a while to talk to. We’ll let you know when we find a special place and time for letting go of her ashes, so together we can all continue to celebrate her! Bonnie McPherson Barns
