Born in Rhinelander, WI. Served in the Army during the Korean War. Graduated from UND where he met his wife, Mona Jean. They moved to St. Paul where he worked at Whirlpool Corp. for 25 years. He loved to play golf, pool, and "tinker" in his basement workshop. Preceded in death by wife, Mona Jean. Survived by daughters, Kristin (Dan) Klingner and Karyn (Tim Ivory) Harvey; grandchildren, Jeff (Amy) and Erik Klingner; great-grandson, Jeremy; brother, Peter (Carolyn); many nieces and nephews, and friends. Memorial Service Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 104 S. Snelling Avenue. Visitation one hour prior. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery
