Rosemary Dey

Age 59, of Stillwater, MN Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Rose was born on June 6, 1959 and raised in Tonka Bay, MN. A 1977 graduate of Minnetonka High School, Rose earned a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota in 1981. She is survived by husband Steven Dey of Stillwater, daughter Betsy (Mike) Stauss, along with grandson Luke, of Lake Elmo, MN. Rose is also survived by her brothers Allan (Arlene) Fink of Maple Grove, MN; David (Lisa) Fink of Lake Villa, IL; sister Jackie (Ev) Sorenson of Anoka, MN; brother Fred (Becky) Fink of Sarasota, FL; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and other wonderful family members. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth "Betty" (Notermann) and Milton Fink. Rose worked at 3M and thoroughly enjoyed puzzles, Scrabble, playing the piano, and taking trips with her family. She truly loved life's simple pleasures, from pancakes to puns to enjoying Lake Minnetonka and the St. Croix River. Rose touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a woman of God who remained steadfast in her faith, looking forward to Mass every Sunday. Memorial Mass 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 423 5th St. S., Stillwater, MN 55082. Memorial visitation 10-11 a.m. at church prior to Mass. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are welcomed.
