Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 17, 2014. Survived by husband of 65 years, Tony; children, Tony, Jr. (Nancy), Deborah, Doug, and Tina (Mike) Nehmer; grandchildren, Bob (Anne), Ana (Tom) McLafferty, Steve, Jamie (Joel) Harriff, Jason (Katy), Doug, Jr., Corbin, Celina Nehmer, and Gina Nehmer; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Milan Nelson; special sister-in-law, Amparo Gaston. Lola was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, great cook, generous and witty. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11:00 A.M. at OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CHURCH, 401 Concord Street. Visitation 9-11 A.M. at the church. Interment Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. Special thanks to the caring staff at White Pine-Mendota Heights and HealthPartners Hospice.
