A veteran of the Vietnam War, Leo was a loving husband, father, and papa who always thought of others before himself. He made friends wherever he went. Leo was deeply devoted to his family, friends, and church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Leo; aunt, Clara; brother in law, Eddie Van Tassel; cousin, Alberta Ramo. Leo is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lynne; children, Kathryn (Manny) Jimenez, Heather, Matthew (Laura), and Heidi (David) Spencer; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Manny, and Clayton; and many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 20th, 3:00 at Jehovah Lutheran Church, 1566 Thomas Ave W, St. Paul, MN with a gathering of family and friends at the church from 1:00 - 3:00 prior to the service. Private family internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 24th.
