Doris was born in West Berlin, Germany and was raised by her grandparents, Walter and Frieda Steuer and her beloved mother Wilhemia. She is survived by her loving husband Bob and the Healey family. Doris knew the struggles of people at an early age in Germany. She knew how hard life can be at times. Doris forged ahead as an adult coming to the USA with a positive and optimistic attitude. She was kind, caring and had a great deal of compassion for people. She loved animals, decorating, movies, walking and music. Doris was a make-up artist for Estee Lauder, so cosmetics was an integral part of her life. Doris was a striking, attractive woman but more importantly, she was a very unassuming classy lady. Doris motto was: be kind. She realized no one is immune to life's battles' so be kind to everyone. Special "thank you" to all at Our Lady of Peace Home.
